CEO’s Note: Looking back on 2021

The following is a note written by Trove’s CEO Danny Cohanpour on the accomplishments of 2021. The team also looks forward into 2022’s prospects.

Season’s Greetings from Trove!

It has been an amazing year at Trove Tourism Development Advisors. Our #1 focus has been on helping the tourism industry through this rollercoaster of a time to rebound and recover through digital tools. The tourism sector has been the hardest hit but there is a lot to look forward to in 2022 as we have all (gradually) developed a standard of what it means to travel safely.

Most importantly: thank you to the partners, teammates, consultants and advisors we work with here at Trove (both former and current) for shaping this journey and moving things forward.

A few team accomplishments here:

- 4 team off-sites

- New product launch of our one-view analytics dashboard for DMOs & tourism authorities: TroveTrends

- New client projects in destination marketing, strategy, analytics and branding in the Middle East and Southeast Asia

- New partnerships with local innovators - and in many circumstances - friends!

- New team and teammates in four countries, from business development to branding to analytics to tourism strategy

- Development of our innovations in tourism planning and market segmentation (TroveDiscovery and TroveTraveler)

-Launch of our consulting offering for DMCs

-New "Expert Network Partner" roles with City Nation Place and TravelTech Show

-New speaking engagements and podcasts with Pacific Tourism Organisation, The Blair List and other outlets

-Attendance at global conferences - IBTM Events, WTM and Arabian Travel Market, TravelTech Show, City Nation PlacePhocuswright, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) events and many more...

As the tourism and travel industry continues to grow, the Trove Tourism Development Advisors is excited for every turn and looks forward to continuing partnerships and friendships across the industry. Partnerships are key to continued upward trends in travel.

Happy Holidays and Happy & Safe Travels as we enter 2022!
