Trove Tourism Development Advisors is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a new project in Jamaica! We are partnering with the JSIF Jamaica Social Investment Fund to enhance the marketing capacity of the local community-based tourism (CBT) sector. The JSIF is implementing the Second Rural Economic Development Initiative (REDI II), a project funded by the Government of Jamaica and the The World Bank.
The Project Development Objective for REDI II is to “enhance access to markets and climate-resilient approaches for targeted beneficiaries” in the agriculture and community tourism sectors. The CBT Awareness Campaign includes the development of a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about community-based tourism, and comprehensive content development programs. Trove will also lead training programs for CBT enterprises, focusing on key areas such as social media management, digital marketing, brand guidelines, customer experience, and website management. Additionally, we will be designing and optimizing the web presence for these enterprises.
We are excited to play a role in boosting the visibility and appeal of CBT across the nation!
